Festo - SmartBird



"SmartBird is inspired by the herring gull and can take off by flapping its wings, and flying and landing autonomously. It moves by flapping and twisting its wings like a gull, and turns its head to steer--see the video below.

Built of carbon fiber and polyurethane foam, SmartBird weighs about 1 pound and has a wingspan of some 6.5 feet feet.

Though its inner structure recalls the flying machines of Leonardo da Vinci, it also houses a microcontroller, four servo drives, and a lithium polymer battery.

The wings are driven with an exterior rotor motor through a two-stage helical transmission, and the wing positions are monitored with sensors that relay data to ground operators via a radio link."

DIET & MY ROUTINE

My friend Charlie has given me some good information on working out and diet. Man this is harder than I thought and what pisses me off more staying strict to it. Thinking too much isn't helping either. No worries.

DIET

FISH (SALMON OR TUNA) FRUITS (HIGH IN NATURAL SUGAR)

BUTTER (USE UNSALTED BUTTER) WHITE RICE

BROWN RICE CANNED ANYTHING (STAY FRESH)

EGGS (BOILED OR POACHED) CORN, CARROTS, PEAS & TOMATOES

BROCCOLLI, ZUCCINNI, SWEET POTATOES BREAD (ANY)

BLOCK CHEESE (NOT SLICED) DESERTS OF ANY KIND

POTATOES

SALT

MILK

MARGERINE

TRY YOUR BEST TO NOT EAT OUT. A LOT OF FOOD THAT IS PREPARED IN RESTAURANTS IS FILLED WITH SUGARS, SALT AND ADITIVES. AND DEFINITELY STAY AWAY FROM CANNED OR PRE-PACKAGES FOODS. SEASON YOUR FOOD WITH ONLY DRY SPICES IF POSSIBLE. GRILLING YOUR FOOD ALSO ADDS FLAVORS SO THAT YOU ARE NOT IN NEED OF OTHER SPICES OR SAUCES.

WORK-OUT

WITH THIS TYPE OF LOW CARB DIET IS VERY IMPORTANT TO INCREASE YOUR CARDIO. OLYPTICAL TRAINER AND TREAD MILLS ARE BEST IN THE MORNING BEFORE BREAKFAST. (30 TO 45 MINUTES)

WHEN DOING YOUR WEIGHT LIFTING YOU NEED TO CHANGE IT UP. NOW IS TIME FOR LIGHT WEIGHTS AND HIGH REPITITION, SO INSTEAD OF THE STANDARD 3 SETS OF 10 REPITITIONS, YOU SHOULD DO 5 SETS WITH LIGHTER WEIGHTS AND 15 REPS. CARDIO AND AB WORKOUTS ARE THE ONLY THINGS YOU CAN DO EVERY DAY. FOR ABS I SUGGEST LEG RAISES FROM THE FLOOR. LAY FLAT ON YOU’RE BACK WITH YOUR LEGS EXTENDED STRAIGHT OUT AND RAISED ABOUT 2” OFF THE FLOOR. KEEPING YOUR BACK FLAT ON THE FLOOR, RAISE YOUR LEGS TO THE HIGHEST YOU CAN AT A SLOW NON JERKING RATE. hitting the gym

I'm not sure why I posted this short video clip that I filmed with my DROID. Here I am hitting the gym at 24-hour fitness. Ever since I arrived back from SF to Boston I'm missing a real, actual gym. The small gym that is at the apartment complex where I now live doesn't have much and I feel as if I'm boxed in as it's a very small room. But this is only temporary.....

Matt Barber : The 2nd face of the right-wing christian hate machine


Isn't it funny that hate monger, gay sex-obsessed, and religious bully Matt Barber sure looks like he's a camera whore that loves the attention. Very typical of a self-loathing closeted fag. It's bullies like him that incite violence against not just gay people, but minorities as well. I used to live in fear of going to school everyday when I was a child because I dealt with bullies that were taught to hate by people just like him. And it is those same people that are now complaining that they are somehow the "victims" because society is casting them out wanting nothing to do with his kind.

If he ever crossed my path and ever tried to threaten me, or anyone I love, I'd meet him with a .38.

If there's anything I hate more is ignorance and stupidity especially within the gay community. So if you come across an asswipe like this example and he proceeds to say ANY of these asinine comments to you, KICK HIS ASS TO THE CURB.

NO ONE has the right to label you. They also cannot make you feel bad about yourself unless you let them. If you are comfortable in your own skin and can look at yourself in the mirror and be ok with yourself, then you're OK.
